half way there

So it's been about two weeks and I have the house half way unpacked and it's starting to feel like home...got the paperwork that my mortgage has already been sold and I haven't even made a payment on it yet. My course for the summer started last week and I once again have a prof that is all jacked up. My first exam opened Monday and has to be done by Friday but she hadn't assigned the last two chapter yet that are on the exam...and she has a compeletly messed up way to make us post to the discussion boards that I haven't seen in the 10 online courses I have taken so far!!! Boyo is dying to get a mohawk for the summer and actually wants a real 80's style punk rock mohawk instead of what they call a faux hawk like he did a couple years ago...had to find a stylist that will do it. That adventure is slated for tomorrow night...my hair is blonder and slowly getting longer...when I pull it straight it is to the bottom of my shoulder blades but the curl pulls it up so far that it's at that place where it doesn't feel like it's growing at all... heat is starting to come in for the summer it's been in the 90's all week and of course my new job has no A/C so it's like stepping into a sauna...but such is life...I'm well, Boyo is well, and David is still hanging around after our first little spat!! We've actually made 6 months, I'm surprised with how rocky we started out...things were paradise and then his ex got him kind of messed up in the head with the kids and the holidays but we weathered that and officially put it back together for new years...I even got invited to his youngests graduation from Kindergarten and the ex was two rows in front of us and glared at me the whole time and I was good and just smiled and chat with his mom...here's a few photos to update the progress....

I trie dto post pics with my blog yesterday but it just wouldn't work...got a b on my sociologt=y fianl and I had an A going into my humanities final so those should be ok...I just took the chapter test and essay for history and got a d on the mc part bu thave 50 points out there for the essay part that isn't graded yet...sooo...and I have to take the official final for that class tomorrow...good news is that he will drop the lowest scored test so hopefully tomorrow will go better...anyway, David is on his way and I said I'd bake brownies fo rwork so lets see if I can figure out the pic thing...

da house

okay, closed yesterday and got to sleep i n my new bed in da new house last night..boyo was all for being right there with me...got the majority of the rest of the house relocated today took two of my finals already...went into humanities with an A and think I did okay...went into Sociology with a B and got a B on the test...this just leaves a chapter test and essays tomorrow night and the official final Thursday... mean time I'm headed back to the trenches called work...my super wil be out all week and I just have one meeting to run thursday so it should be a piece of cake....

hello once again

went to see Fleetwood Mac Sunday night with David and his best friend Jeff...Jeff had picked the concert and it was a bit vanilla for david but I had fun other than the fact that they turn the beer off at 9 because I live in the bible belt....got the call today that I get to close Monday 11th of May on boyo and my new house...called da movers and got delivery for what little furniture I got to buy for us delivered as well...now I just have packing from hell to finish up and trying to deal with finals for college. finally got a pic of me and david, was taken by a girl we didn't know at the bar and then she gave me her myspace to track it down...we have officially been together 5 months and neither of us has gotten bored sexually yet so that should be a good sign...we as it's been reported that his ex-wife and her live in are already hitting the adult toy store...

life in a nutshell

okay...I'll take this a subject at a time to make it fair and try and update everything.

Boyo...will somehow be 12 in August and I'm dealing less well with that than he is...only interested in girls as Friends...wanted to watch harper's Island and decided half way throughit he says it is to adult for him and went to play xbox360...I'm of course wondering if it was lack of interest or if some hormones had kicked in and he didn't want to be sitting with his mom when that happened...Soccer is rough this year, he moved up to an under 13 competitive team and it's their 1st season playing together so it's been kind of ugly. He has the only goal for the team for the season, which he just happened to header into the goal thank you very much, but there has been a lot of games rescheduled and I'm getting sick of it. but it's about that time of season for me. He decided not to do homework for the month of Jan so his math teacher suggested he do summer school at least for math class..I said it was a good idea so he will be going for 4 weeks in the morning ...hopefully this will get him figured out that it's just not cool.

Me...basic chaos as usual..working to much, but getting settled into the new lead position I have as a warehouse manager..one asshole at work just gets under my skin but I was warned that he'd be a problem going in...but he's starting to figure out that I'm not going to take any shit so it'll get better or it won't. smashing through 9 college credit hours, which wasn't sure if I could do it buthad registered and then got the new job and was trying to just deal with those two things and then in march I got a bug to buy a house, that little $8000 that Obama is saying we'll be eligible for new home owners...so here I am,I managed to get ahead on my home work last week, I'm suppose to be packing, but I have most of it done already, even have the estimate for the movers which was double what i figured it would be... I have finals schedule for the week I'm suppose to close...may 11th... but I just have to believe that it will all just work out.
Love life...well from the last post David and I had some chaos with a few different things still going on in his life...he was separated at the time, waiting the 6 months to file for divorce from a marriage he'd wanted out of for a long time and some other basic chaos, and we started officially dating on New Years...ex-wife started messing with his head right before my b-day which also happens to be her b-day, he bought me roses and chocolates for V'day and started pouting about turning n40 on the 21st of Feb...Officially divorced in march, ex-wife screwed him royally and he got stuck with most of the bills, he works at Eaton (assembly plant 23 years worth) getting furloughed every time he turns around so is looking at filling bankruptcy because he just can't keep up...but most Americans seems to be in that spot now a days and I feel blessed to have so many things going my way right now...he's taken me to Transiberian Orchestra, Foreigner, Disturbed, Nickleback and we are going to see Fleetwood Mac on Sunday...we have tickets for reospeedwagon/styx/38special and slipknot/korn...there was a mention of Journey coming in June and then U2 in OCT....concerts are the thing he does and I love going, haven't been to any in years due to money and the ex-husband so....

anyway I think that about catches it all up and I will be trying harder at this so we'll see how it goes...

the latest in the insanity

well, for those curious as to what is going on ...the gentleman David that i mentioned last post just happened t ask me out the night of said post..first date Nov 14, had dinner at a Irish style pub in Shawnee that I didn't know was there, shot some very horrible pool, he's just as bad as I am, thankfully, then went to Deitrich's for a few beers and I got him to slow dance with me....the surprises of the evening, he's an inch or two shorter that I am, which I'm okay with and he has hair down to the middle of his back!!! ended with some extrememly heavy petting in his truck like a couple of teenagers....text messages became the daily thing at that point and I stopped by his house Nov 18th, we snuggled up on the couch and one thing led to another and next thing i know I'm topless in his bed...but my jeans never came off much to his dismay and I wondered how long I could get away with this charade...there was off hand convo that we might make it to the weekend!!! He textd me Friday afternoon to see if I was available for dinner that night even though we had made plans for sat eve. We went over to the grand to eat had a few beers and his youngest decided she didn't want to be picked up so we headed back to my place and of course one thing led to another and he tucked me in before he left for the night since I had to get up for overtime Sat morning. Sat he took me to Santa Fe steakhouse and TWILIGHT (which was absolutely amazing) and he even liked it(big surprise since it is technically a girl movie even with the vampires in it) and then home and I rolled out of his bed mid sunday morning!!! and one would think things should have cooled off a bit by then but, we had talked about just getting together for a bit tuesday night and then his girls decided to stay with grandma so he asked if I wanted to pack a bag for the night and come stay with him...mildly ironic due to the fact that he is one of the few people I know that sleeps less than I do even with both of us medicated. I did make it to work and on time which kind of surprised me because I didn't know if I would be willing to climb out of his bed! so anyway I stoped by to see him for a bit last night after I left Tom & Sue since they lived close by and we just snuggle dup and watched tv for a while and then his girls come home, which already knew about me so it was only mildly weird but in a good way. we're working on a sate for this weekend which brings us up to date number 7 in 14 days!!! need more chocolate.

the ups and downs

I got my car back today *Yeah* the bill is three times more than what it started out to be *Hiss* My mechanic is family so I get to pay it in installments *Yeah* Local brother finally asks his girlfriend to marry him *Yeah* Date picked for the wedding March 21 *Hiss* This is only due to the fact that me and boyo are suppose to be on our way back from Vegas that day so I get to change those plans around a bit due to the fact that I want to be there and there is a chance boyo may be needed for the ceremony. So first wife of mine!!! if you are reading this then here is the possible abbreviated schedule we will still leave here on the 13th arrival the 14th...leaving schedule for the 18th to give us time in case something goes wrong with afore mention vehicle..kind of rolling around the idea of a rental now!!!..just not sure how long the trunk is but it should fit in a standard back seat*scratches head* I refuse to give up my trip since I have been planning this for over a year!!

on the man front Matthew from Tulsa is sending less and less text messages so I think we may have come to the point where we are just friends and maybe he will forget about jumping my bones*Yeah*...as for the online dating I've had 4 responses and been glimpsed by 40 some people, which always makes a girl feel good!!! Three of the guys sent a piddly one liner that told me nothing, and then there is David, a name that keeps appearing in my life for some reason. Basics are he's 39, I'm thinking part Indian due to the long black hair, divorced has two daughter, Rahna and Paige 11 and 6, joint custody, been with the same company for 20 years, lives about 20 minutes from me. funny moment was when we both realized the other lives in a trailer on ten acres, he was concerned I might not respond back since he lives in a trailer!....Possibility of meeting up has not come up yet but I see it in the near future, I am going to leave that up to him to bring up.
